Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how GoCliqs (“we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and ticket hosting Service. It may be updated from time to time and is not a substitute for advice from your own counsel. Related product rules appear in our Terms of Service.

1. Who we are

GoCliqs provides event ticketing and organizer tools at www.gocliqs.com. For privacy requests, contact privacy@gocliqs.com.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect:

• Account information — when you sign in with Google via Supabase Auth (for example, name, email address, and provider identifiers).
• Profile and organization data — information you provide in your profile, organizations, team invites, and settings.
• Event and ticket data — event details, cover images, ticket types, pricing configuration (including organizer net and buyer list prices), inventory, and related organizer content.
• Order and payment metadata — order totals, organizer net, application fee and tax portions stored for the transaction, payment status, and Stripe identifiers. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.
• Buyer information needed to fulfill tickets — such as contact details collected at checkout or provided by Stripe Checkout, which organizers may need to deliver tickets or support attendees.
• Technical and usage data — IP address, device/browser information, and logs generated when you use the Service (including hosting and security logs).

3. How we use information

We use information to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Service.
• Process ticket purchases as merchant of record on Stripe Connect destination charges, including application fees that may include amounts for tax remittance as described in the Terms of Service.
• Enable organizer payouts through Stripe Connect.
• Authenticate users, secure accounts, and prevent abuse.
• Provide customer support and send service-related notices.
• Comply with law and enforce our Terms.

4. How we share information

We may share information with:

• Stripe — payment processing, Connect onboarding, and related financial operations.
• Supabase — authentication, database, and related backend services.
• Hosting and infrastructure providers — for example, Vercel, to run the web application.
• Organizers — buyer and order information needed to fulfill tickets, run events, and support attendees.
• Professional advisors or authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

We do not sell your personal information. Service providers process data on our behalf under contractual obligations appropriate to their role.

5. Payments and financial data

Stripe processes payments and stores sensitive payment credentials according to Stripe’s own policies. GoCliqs stores transaction metadata needed to operate WYSIWYP pricing and payouts (for example, amounts, fees, and tax portions associated with an order). 6. Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service, meet legal and accounting requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type (for example, order records are typically kept longer than transient logs).

7. Security

We use administrative and technical measures appropriate to our stage of product (including access controls and hosting provider safeguards). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to object to certain processing. You can update some account details in the Service. For other requests, email privacy@gocliqs.com. We may need to verify your request and may retain information when we have a lawful reason to do so (for example, completed orders).

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

10. International users

We may process and store information in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate. If you access the Service from elsewhere, you understand that information may be transferred to those locations.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy by posting a revised version on this page and changing the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated through the Service or by email when appropriate.
